General information regarding the processing of personal data
1. Personal data and their meaning
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (also referred to as “Data Subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. This includes in particular date of birth or place of birth, email address, telephone number, place of residence, network identifier (cookies), ID card number and driver's license number, copy of these IDs, data about social network accounts, chat content, Google ID, online and offline data and their combination, data about activities on the Website including cluster analysis, data about goods purchased to date and services provided by the person responsible to date, etc. In summary, it means any information that, by itself or in combination with other data, could identify a specific natural person. Any user of our Services can be considered a data subject.
2. Personal data processing activity
Data processing means any operation or set of operations on personal data or on sets of personal data performed with the help of automated procedures or without such procedures on personal data; e.g. collection, collection, use, classification, combination, arrangement, structuring, regrouping or linking, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, recording, use, dissemination or otherwise making available by transmission or any other means, restriction, erasure or destruction of personal data.
3. Purpose, legal basis and scope of processing of personal data
In accordance with Law No. 06/L-082 on the Protection of Personal Data, the data controller (Euro Kosova) may process personal data only for specific legal reasons, namely on a contractual basis and on a legal basis (including on the basis of a legal obligation). In this regard, the processing of data in the specific case must be in the public interest, serve to protect the interests of the data subject or of another natural person, be necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, or be carried out with the express consent of the data subject. The scope of the data to be processed depends on the purpose or legal basis of the respective processing.
4. Disclosure of personal data to third parties
In some cases, the data controller uses the services of third parties in connection with its business activities. Among other things, they also process personal data collected by the controller. These third parties will then be considered as commissioned data processors. This includes, for example, IT systems and website administrators, accountants, tax advisors, lawyers, auditors, marketing agencies, etc. In the context of fulfilling its legal obligations, the data controller must also transmit personal data to public authorities (e.g. courts, law enforcement agencies, administrative authorities, etc.) to the extent necessary.
